Application
SAT116 has been designed and manufactured for broadband network installations. Due to its construction, the cable features high shielding effectiveness in the return channel band. This is particularly important in HFC/CATV networks providing Internet access services. High shielding effectiveness (>105dB) is also maintained for the < 2000MHz band, making this cable extremely safe for multiswitch installations with extensive cable bus systems. The cable core with a diameter of 1.16 mm is made of copper, which gives the cable very good attenuation parameters. The aluminum braid increases the cable's lifespan. The cable has a technical opinion from the Institute of Telecommunications No. 014/2014.
